They say, "A picture is worth a thousand words". I agree!

Last night I was going through all the pictures I snapped at the airport and came across this one. Being only 17 months apart they don't remember being without each other! I just thought this was a pretty great picture.

So, I didn't cry when you called crying just after you sent Jed off on the plane...but I'm sitting here at my computer with tears running down my cheeks looking at these pictures. I wish I had been there! It's always bitter-sweet to send off a missionary...I've sent off 3 and I feel so blessed they made the decision to serve, but there was an empty chair at dinner! They returned with deeper testimonies and experiences no other place than New York--Spanish speaking, Korea, and Los Angeles could have given them. Jed, Aunt Peggy is so proud of your decision to serve...Mary, and this too shall pass...until you send your next one!!! I know he'll always be in your prayers, on the prayer roll, receive weekly letters and monthly packages!

Thanks Peggy! We felt family there in spirit. I appreciate my sisters/sisters-in-laws that have been through this experience and your support and love! He was a bit of the talk at Stake Conference yesterday. I had a grandma who's grandson went down the week before Jed come up to me. Also a guy that works at the airport said that we were the talk of the airport last Tuesday!
